Noor Aroma Cooking Oil Review

Hello all! So what do you consider to be the most important factor when buying your cooking oil? Usually I am fine with the ones available in the market as long they are free from the bad cholestral. So apart from the brand I consider that it is not corn or peanut oil. I know olive oil is the best in that matter but I haven’t completely switched to it and do use my share of safflower oil.

So once these are done considering I am quite content with buying any standard brand. That is how I was in for a surprise when I brought the Noor Aroma Cooking Oil.

Now the fact that it is called aroma oil should have been a clue. But I just assumed it will have some “foodish” smell. But that is not what this smells of. This oil has a floral, almost attar/itra like smell. If you do not have a problem with that go ahead and use it, the oil is perfectly okay.

But with me I do not like the idea of fragrance in any and everything. No only my soaps, shampoos and perfumes can smell and because I can choose the smell.

So it would be great if the odourless trend caught on and there would be no synthetically added smells at least in my food.
What are the virtues you look for in your oil?
