Nesquik Chocolate Powder Review

Remember the time when you were a kid and you used to wait till the silence of the afternoon, and then sneak in the kitchen to fill your mouth with the chocolate powder that is otherwise mixed into the milk? No? Well, I used to do that. Actually I did not like milk that much and used to think it was a total waste of the precious chocolate.

Actually most of the joy was sneaking in and eating this chocolate, because once I ate it, hardly any of the powder ever got on my tongue, it just used to get stuck on my teeth. And it was very irritating to just take out the bits with the tongue and nails.

The brands continue to be in the market. But my search for a good chocolate powder has ended with Nesquik.

Well, taste wise it has a rich chocolaty taste when you mix it with milk. Most importantly, it leaves no lump!!!

And if you are trying out chocolate cake and do not have a the unsweetened cocoa, fret not, this product can totally be a good substitute for that.

However, I do not know what causes this powder to not form lump, i.e. what chemical composition makes it do that. And if that is good or bad. But it did pass the spoil after a while test. Once I forgot a packet at my mother’s place and it got spoilt after 6 months. It is known that food that does not spoil for very long contains harmful chemicals, which can enter your system and stay there for so long. The process of preserving food with chemicals is relatively new, so we cannot be sure how it harms our system. So, try it is wise to test new products for this.

Rating: 4 out of 5. Only because I have no idea about the chemical composition.

Do you know any product similar to this? Is it any better in nutritional value? Let me know if you have anything to share.
